Introduction
At Wevanta, we respect your privacy and provide you with full control over your data. If you decide to stop using our platform, you can permanently delete your account and all associated information through your profile settings.
What account deletion means
Deleting your Wevanta account initiates the permanent removal of your personal data from our active systems. This includes:
- Your profile information and login credentials.
- All financial records, accounts, and transaction history.
- Uploaded documents in the Secure Vault.
- Family group configurations and invited member access.
- Connected WhatsApp notification preferences and reminder settings.
Note: Limited records may be retained for a specific duration where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or billing compliance reasons, as per our data retention policy.
Step-by-Step Instructions
To delete your account, follow these steps while signed in to the application:
- Log in to your Wevanta account.
- Click on your profile name/icon and select Profile & Settings from the navigation menu.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page to find the Danger Zone section.
- Click the Delete Account button.
- Review the warning modal that appears. To proceed, type
I confirmin the text field provided. - Click the Request Deletion button.
The 24-Hour Grace Period
After submitting your request, your account will enter a 24-hour grace period. You will receive an email confirmation with two options:
- Restore Account: If you change your mind, you can click the restore link within 24 hours to cancel the deletion.
- Delete Permanently Now: You can click this link in the email to bypass the grace period and purge your data immediately.
What happens to WhatsApp / Meta-related data
If you have enabled WhatsApp notifications or connected Meta-related services for reminders and reports:
- Your WhatsApp notification settings and linked messaging configurations will be disabled and deleted as part of the account removal.
- Wevanta will immediately stop sending any WhatsApp reminders, summaries, or notifications to your registered number.
- Meta Settings: We also recommend removing Wevanta from your Apps and Websites settings within your Facebook/Meta account to fully disconnect the integration from the Meta side.

If you are unable to access your account but still wish to request data deletion, please contact our support team:

- Details: Please provide your registered email address and any identifying details needed to locate your account for verification.
Processing Timeline
Account deletion requests are processed promptly. Following the 24-hour grace period (or immediate confirmation), your data is scheduled for purging from our active databases. Some backups or legally required records may remain for a limited time in accordance with our compliance obligations.
