Wevanta believes you own your data. You are never locked into the platform. We provide a 1-click master export that extracts your entire financial footprint.
Export Master Backup
Go to Profile → Backup & Restore.
Click Export Master Backup. Wevanta will generate a comprehensive Excel file (Wevanta_Backup_YYYY-MM-DD.xlsx) containing multiple sheets:
- Family Members: Your profile and all family connections.
- Accounts: All your assets and liabilities, balances, and providers.
- Transactions: Every single transaction ever recorded.
- Goals: Your financial targets and current progress.
- Reminders: Specific scheduled reminders.
This ensures that even if you choose to leave Wevanta, you have a perfectly organised offline record of your data.
Import & Restore Data
On the same page, you can upload a previously exported Master Backup Excel file.

Warning: Restoring a backup is a destructive action. It will overwrite your current active dataset with the data from the spreadsheet. Only use this if you are recovering from data loss or migrating between instances.
